Covered Bridge Farmers market

I wanted to see what this was all about. We were told they had the best sweet corn ever!  Also was curious about the covered bridge.  Turns out the covered bridge is not there anymore.  We bought 2 ears of corn and a tomato, They gave us an extra ear. We will find out tonight out how good it is.  They are surrounded by corn fields. Apparently the peaches are finished for this year. Squash, Pumpkins and great apples are available now. This is on the "long" way to the park..the route one has to take while driving the big bus. We go the "short cut" when we are in the car. There is a hairpin turn on the short cut that we could never make with the bus. We have less than a week left here before we head to Virginia. I am looking forward to the beach though. The trees are turning a bit more each day and temps have been cooler.  There was a flag at half mast on top of a mountain this morning for the tragedy of 911.
